Starting March 2nd, 2026, every employee at SCDOT will have the opportunity to submit their innovation. Whether you’re working in the field, at a district office, or behind the scenes at headquarters — your innovations are essential to shaping the future of our agency.
Both tools/equipment and process improvement innovations will be evaluated by the Innovation Council on 4 criteria: increased safety, improved efficiency, cost-savings, and ingenuity. Scroll down to see examples from past winners.

Finalists will be notified in June and winners will be announced at the July 30th showcase at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
